The Curonian Spit National Park is a long, 0.4-4 km wide sandy peninsula separating the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea. You will encounter with a great diversity of landscapes – leafy and coniferous forests and dunes, and amazing sights, which are definitely worth seeing. The Epha’s height, the Muller’s height, the ornithological station and the Dancing Forest are among them. The Curonian Spit is an extraordinary, magical and somewhere mysterious place. In the 9th century the Kurshi dwelled in the place and considered the groves here sacred. They protected nature, and we need to follow their example refusing to enjoy walking on the sand dunes.
